Given :-

Two angles of a isosceles triangle are equal

Measurement of one angle = 55°

Solution :-

Let the given triangle be ABC

AngleA = 55°

As we know,

Angles opposite to equal sides of a triangle are equal.

AngleA = AngleB = 55°

Now,

By using Angle sum property

AngleA + AngleB + AngleC = 180°

55° + 55° + AngleC = 180°

110° + AngleC = 180°

AngleC = 180° - 110°

AngleC = 70°

Hence, The angles will be 55° , 55° and 70°

Properties of isosceles triangle

  • An isosceles triangle has two equal sides .
  • An isosceles triangle has two equal angles.
  • The sum of internal angles of triangles is 180° .
