This is an ASL prompt for speaking activity, task 3. You can say the following lines or something similar in your discussion for the prompt:
Candidate A: Hey, do you know our friend, Manisha's(You can change the name) lunch box was found empty again today?

Candidate B: Don't tell me there is another food-theft in our class! I think I know who is doing this.

Candidate A: Even I know who the lunch-box thief is. I think we should talk to her! It is giving our class a bad name. It is the fifth incident this month. We are going to be notorious as 'class of thieves'! Hey tell me one thing. Why did the other students not complain to class teacher?

Candidate B: I think they are not serious about it. They feel their friends are playing pranks with them. We must do something. I think we need to talk to Rita.

Candidate A: Yes, we must.  We need to tell her that her stealing is causing inconvenience to the students whose food is being stolen. They remain hungry. Such incidents might encourage other students to indulge in more such acts of pinching.

Candidate B: We will tell her that we will report the matter to the class teacher. We will tell her stealing is immoral whether big or small. But the question is will she listen to us?

Student A: Sure she will. If she does not, we will tell her flatly that we will complain against her.

Student B: What else can we do to discourage stealing of food?

Student A: I think we can volunteer ourselves as watchmen for the recess. Most of the nicking instances have been reported after the break. We can stand as guards in the class during the break.

Candidate B: Very bright idea! We can also request the principal through our class teacher to have a CCTV camera installed in our class. The very presence of the camera will discourage the delinquent students from stealing food from lunch boxes.

Candidate A: I think this will be enough to discourage her from stealing food in future.

Such questions need to be attempted on your own to test your creative writing skills. However, these points might help you elaborate:

- It would be a good idea to be doubly sure that the classmate you suspect is actually stealing your tiffin.

- Once you are sure, confront him to try and find out why he is doing so.

- It could be that he is not carrying any food to school due to a genuine reason(unwell mother, poor background); in that case, it would be kind of you to share your tiffin with him for a few days till his problem is solved.

- In case the problem runs deeper, request him to stop stealing. If that does not work, go ahead and complaint to the teacher.
