Being loud and not letting others speak or heard is a failing in some. This trait needs to be curbed. The first thing a person must do is to become a good listener, even when another person is presenting a contrarian view. Another trait he or she must develop is not be rigid or dogmatic on any issue. A person must also learn to speak when it is his or her turn to speak. Even when he or she speaks, politeness should come naturally to any human person. If a person is flexible and believes in free exchange of ideas, he or she will not only be a good leader but also be seen to be a trustworthy human individual, who will earn respect by his or her deeds and actions.
In view of what I have written above, I'd advise my classmate to listen attentively to others, speak when it is his turn, be polite and respect others and the ideas or thoughts presented by them in class. I'd also request him to lower his voice when he speaks. I'd tell him if he acquires these traits, he'd be respected not only as a person, but his ideas and thoughts could leave a lasting impression on others.
