Let, the cost of radio be Rs. x

Then, Selling price of radio = x × (100-7)/100 = 93x/100

Given that : If it would be sold in Rs. 195 more then the profit will be 8%

Now, Selling price of Radio when it would gain 8% profit = x × (100+8)/100 = 108x/100

ATQ :

108x/100 - 93x/100 = 195

=> x(108-93)/100 = 195

=> 15x/100 = 195

=> x = (195×100)/15 = 1300

So, the cost price of Radio is Rs. 1300 ✔✔
