Let the bus fare from A to B be : Rs X
and fare from A to C be : Rs Y
Therefore the equations are
3X + Y = 405 ....... (1)
2X + 3Y = 620 ...... (2)
Now equate Y in both equation for that multiply (1)by 3
9X + 3Y = 1215 ..... (3)
Sub (2) from (3) we get

(9X - 2X) +( 3Y - 3Y) = 1215 - 620
7X = 595
X = 595 / 7
X = 85

Fare from A to B is Rs 85
Now substitute value of X in (1)
(3 x 85) + Y = 405
255 + Y = 405
Y = 405 - 255
Y = 150
Therefore fare from A to C is Rs 150
