One person sold his bicycle at 10% loss. if he had sold for 45 rupees more he
would have made 5% profit. For how much did he sell the bicycle?​

Assume the cost price is x.

So the sell price of cycle is x-20x/100 =4x/5

Now According to condition…

Sell Price + 450 = Cost Price + 10 % profit

So the algebric equation is following..

4x/5 + 450 = x + 10x/100

(4x+2250)/5 = 11x/10

4x+2250 = 11x/2

11x = 8x + 450

After solving the equation

x = 1500

The cost price is 1500.
