Evapration takes place at surface and below tge boiling point.the molecules of atoms of any solution gets attraction from surroundings and get attraction and vapourise.
E.g:-water kept in sunlighf gets evaporated due to surface .

First of all what is evaporation?
Ans: Evaporation is the process of conversion of a liquid into vapour state at any temperature below it's boiling point.
Now,
We know that,
factors affecting evaporation :
(1) Surface area is one of it's factor.
The rate are of evaporation increases on increasing the surface area of the liquid.
Evaporation is the surface phenomenon, if the surface area is increased, the rate of evaporation increases, example, while putting clothes for drying up, we spread them out.
