- x/4 m
According to question,
- 2 hours = 120m
➞ 1/x + 4/x = 1/120
➞ x × 5/x = x × 1/120
➞ 5 = x × 1/120
➞ 5 = 1/120 × x
➞ 5 = 1x/120
➞ 5 = x/120
➞ 120 × 5 = x
➞ x = 120 × 5
➞ x = 600 minutes
The slower pipe alone will be able to fill the tank in 600 minutes or 10 hours
