1 rabbit.
6 elephants.
every elephant saw 2 monkeys and there are 6 elephants that means there are
6×2 = 12 monkeys.
every monkey has one parrot , and there are 12 monkeys, so that means there are
12 parrots.
that's means now we have 1 rabbit, 6 elephants, 12 monkeys and 12 parrots.
but parrot is a bird and we need to find the animals going towards the river.
so add up all the numbers excluding the parrot one.
1+6+12 = 19
therefore there are 19 animals going towards the river.

reji2: Sorry it's wrong

The answer is 4 animals(including bird). Because th rabbit is going towards water but the elephants where not going. Rabbit saw elephants on the road side. But the every elephants saw that 2 monkeys are going to river. Every monkeys holds 1 parrots in their hands. which mens half in one hands half in other hand. Therefore, totally 4 animals. There types of animals.
