Let the roots of an quadratic be m,n
thus the quadratic is x^2 - (m+n)x + mn=0
If m=2, and m + n =0
⇒n=-2
thus mn= 2*(-2) = -4
Thus the quadratic eqn becomes :
x^2 -0x + (-4) =0
≡ X^2 -4 =0
thus the quadratic is x^2 - (m+n)x + mn=0
If m=2, and m + n =0
⇒n=-2
thus mn= 2*(-2) = -4
Thus the quadratic eqn becomes :
x^2 -0x + (-4) =0
≡ X^2 -4 =0
