r2 - 12x + k = 0 is 3, then find the value of k .

☺️Solution:-

☞Given:-

• 3x^2 - 12x + k= 0

☞By formula:-

consider the roots are { α , β }

• α + β = - b/a

• α + β = - (-12/3) = 4 (1)☺️

We have to find:- αβ = c/a

• αβ = k/3 (2)

take ,α = 3 ,put this in (1) ,then

• β = 4–3 = 1

put the values of α and β in (2)☺️

• αβ = k/3

• 3*1 = k/3

• k = 3*3*1 = 9

☞final Solution:-

K = 9
