Let the money with both the friends be ₹X and ₹Y.

X+100=2(Y-100)
X+100=2Y-200
X+300=2Y ---->1.
6(X-10)=Y+10
6X-60=Y+10
6X-70=Y --->2.
Put eq.2. in eq.1.
X+300=2(6X-70)
X+300=12X-140
440=11X
40=X
Put X=40 in eq. 1.
40+300=2Y
340=2Y
170=Y
Hence, the two friends X have ₹40 and Y have ₹170.
