one set of 100 observation has the mean 15 and another set of 150 observation has the mean 16. find the mean of 259 observation by combining the two sets of given observation

Mean of 100 observation =50

Mean of 100 observation =50∴Total of 100 observation=100×50=5000

Mean of 100 observation =50∴Total of 100 observation=100×50=5000If one of the observation 50 is replaced by 150 than total of new observation is=5000−50+150=5100
