One should not be greedy how did greedy bring the deciple in troble?

The deciple was very greedy . He and bis guru was very hungry they came to a kingdom of fools where they saw the market was closed in morning and open in the night .. so they purchese some food.. the price was very cheap so the deciple want to stay .
