Answer :-

  • Option (B) 16 m.

Explanation :-

Given :

  • Sides of a Triangle are 11m, 6m and 15 m.

To Find :

  • Semi Perimeter of Triangle.

Solution :

Semi-Perimeter means Half of Perimeter.

And, Perimeter = Sum of all sides.

So,

Semi-Perimeter = (a + b + c)/2.

Note :- Here, a,b and c are sides of Triangle.

Here,

  • a = 11 m.
  • b = 6 m.
  • c = 15 m.

Put the values.

➠ Semi-Perimeter = (11 + 6 + 15)/2.

➠ Semi-Perimeter = (17 + 15)/2.

➠ Semi-Perimeter = 32/2.

Semi-Perimeter = 16 m.

Therefore, Semi-Perimeter = 16 m.

Extra Information :-

  • Area of Triangle = 1/2 × base × height.

  • Heron's Formula = √[s(s – a)(s – b)(s – c)]

  • Area of Equilateral triangle = √3a²/4

  • Semi-Perimeter = (a + b + c)/2.
