➾ Here, it is given that the side and corresponding height of a parallelogram are 8 cm and 4.5 cm respectively and we have to find the area of the parallelogram. To find the area of the parallelogram we have to solve by applying the formula. And after solving it that's the answers.

ANSWER:-

  • The area of the parallelogram is 36 cm².

GIVEN:-

  • Base of the parallelogram = 8 cm
  • Corresponding Height of the parallelogram = 4.5 cm

TO FIND:-

  • Area of the parallelogram = ?

FORMULA:-

Area of the parallelogram = Base × Height

SOLVING BY APPLYING THE FORMULA:-

  • Base = 8 cm
  • Corresponding height = 4.5 cm
  • Area of parallelogram = B × H
  • Area of the parallelogram = 8 cm × 4.5 cm
  • Area of the parallelogram = 8 × 4.5 cm²
  • Area of the parallelogram = 8 × 4.5 cm² = 36
  • Area of the parallelogram = 36 cm²

Hence, by applying the formula we got the answer and the answer is 36 cm².

More Formulae:-

  • Area of a square = Side × Side (a²)
  • Area of a triangle = 1/2 (Base × Height)
  • Area of a rectangle = Length × Breadth
  • Area of a trapezium = 1/2 (a+b) × Height
  • Area of a rhombus = 1/2 Base × Height
  • Area of a kite = 1/2 Base × Height
