volume of cube = a³ (where a is the side or edge of cube )

here

volume of cube having edge 25 cm = (25)³ = 15625 cm³

and

the volume of cube of edge 5cm = 5³ = 125 cm³

now

the number of cube formed = volume of cube having 25 cm edge length divided by volume of cube having 5cm edge length

=> 15625 cm³ / 125 cm³

=> 125 cubes
