one side of a pallelogram is 5cm more than the other . If the perimeter of the pallelogram is 22 cm, find the side of the pallelogram.

Perimeter of parallelogram = 2(l+b)

22 = 2(5+x)

22/2 = 5+x

11 = 5+x

x = 11-5

x = 6cm

Let one side be x.Then the other side will be x+5.

Perimeter => 2(l+b)

22cm=2 (x+x+5)

=> 2x+5 =11

=> 2x=6

=> x=3.

So, The sides of the pallelogram are 3 , 8 , 3 & 8.
