area of parallelogram=length ×breadth
=16×7.5cm^2
=120cm^2

SOLUTION :


One side of the parallelogram is 16 cm     (given)

The distance between the side from the opposite side is 7.5 [altitude]     (given)


To be found :-

The area of the parallelogram


We know that,

Formula for finding the area of the parallelogram = b×h unit sq.   [ ∴ In which b is the base and h is the height(altitude) of the parallelogram]


Area of the parallelogram = 16 × 7.5 = 120 cm sq.


Hence

the area of the parallelogram is 120 cm sq.
