one side of a parallelogram is 18 cm long and its area is 153 CM square find the distance of the given side from its opposite side

Answer:

Area of parallelogram ABCD = 153 cm2

Side (Base) AB = 18 cm

∴ Distance DL between AB and DC (Altitude)

= Area / base = 153/18 = (17/2) cm = 8.5 cm
