Let the adjacent or one side be x m

hence, Another side = x + 2.5 m

Perimeter = 51 m

A/Q,

2 (x + x + 2.5) = 51

→ 2 × (2x + 2.5) = 51

→ 2x + 2.5 = 51/2

→ 2x + 2.5 = 25.5

→ 2x = 25.5 - 2.5

→ 2x = 23

→ x = 23/2

→ x = 11.5

Now,

Measure of one side = x

= 11.5 m

Measure of another side = (x + 2.5) m

= (11.5 + 2.5) m

= 14 m.
