SINCE Opposite sides of a llogram are equal let the smaller side be x
.'. the other 2 sides=x+2.5
.'. 2(x+2.5+x)=51
4x+5=51
4x=46
x=23
there fore x=23meters
                x+2.5=25.5 meters
pls mrk brainliest

let one side of parellelogram = x
∴its adjacent side =x+2.5
perimeter of a parellelogram= 2(l+b)
                                             =2(x+x+2.5)
                                             =2(2x+2.5)
                                             =4x+5
∴51=4x+5
 ∴4x=46
 ∴x=46/4
 &∴x=11.5
 ∴one side of parellelogram =11.5
    & its adjaccent side = 11.5+2.5=14

hope it helps and pls mark as best answer
