hey mate!!!

here is ur answer

_______________________

let adjacent side be x

one side =x-4.25

perimeter of parallelogram=71.5m=2(l+b)

2(x+x-4.5)=71.5

4x=71.5+8.5

4x=80

x=20m

it's adjacent side =20-4.5
=15.5m

I hope this will help u ;)

let sides are x cm and (x - 4.25) cm

======================

Perimeter of parallelogram = 2(length+breadth)

Here,

71.5 = 2(x + x - 4.25)

=> 71.5/2 = 2x - 4.25

=> 35.75 = 2x - 4.25

=> 35.75 + 4.25 = 2x

=> 40 = 2x

=> 40/2 = x

=> 20 = x

××××××××××××××××××××××××

Sides are 20 and (20-4.25) = 15.75

I hope this will help you
