Given :

  • One side of a parallelogram is 8 cm long.
  • Perimeter of the parallelogram = 26 cm.

To calculate :

  • Length of all sides of a parallelogram means we need to find the breadth of the parallelogram.

Calculation :

Assumption: Let us assume the breadth of the parallelogram as b.

Formula to be used :

  • 2 (length + breadth)

Plugging the values,

⟾ 2 (length + breadth)

⟾ 2 (8 cm + b) = 26

⟾ 16 + 2b = 26

⟾ 2b = 10

⟾ b = 10/2

b = 5 cm

Henceforth,

The sides of the parallelogram are :-

  • Length of the parallelogram = 8 cm
  • Breadth of the parallelogram = 5 cm
