Step-by-step explanation:
hey here is your answer
pls mark it as brainliest answer pls
so let the one side of rectangle ie its length be l m also its other side ie its breadth be b m
so according to first condition
l=b+3 (1)
now we know that area of rectangle=l×b
so according to second condition
lb=238
so b(b+3)=238 from (1)
ie b square+3b=238
so b square+3b-238=0
so b square+17b-14h-238=0
ie b(b+17)-14(b+17)=0
(b-14)(b+17)=0
ie b=14 or b=-17
but as dimensions length are never negative
b-17 is absurd
thus b=14
so substitute value of b in (1)
we get l=17
hence length of above rectangle is 17m and it's breadth is 14m
