Let the rectangle be ABCD

Let BC = 15m

diagonal ,AC = 17 m

By applying pythagorus theorem,

AC² = AB² + BC²

⇒ AB = √AC²-BC²

⇒ AB = √17²-15²

⇒AB = 8m

Area of rectangle = l*b

                            = 15*8 = 120 m²
