Answer:

Given :

  • One side of a rectangular field of area 0.5 ha is 40 m.

To find :

  • Find the other side in metres.

Solution :

➸Given area =. 5ha

And we know that

\mathtt\pink{1 ha =10000 {m}^{2} }

➸So area of field will be 5000

\frak\red{Area  \: of  \: rectangle  \: = l  \: X  \: b}

\sf\red{5000=125 X B}

\sf\red{B=40}

Hence :

The other side is 40.

  • ➥ Side of a rectangular field is 40 m and its area is 0.5 hr.

  • ➥ Find the Second side of field.

\large\underline{\underline{\dag{\pmb{\sf{\pink{ \: Solution :-}}}}}}

We know that :

\blue \bigstar \: \underline{ \boxed{\red{\sf {Area{\small_{(Rectangle)}} = Length  \times Breadth}}}}

Here :

  • ➳ Area = 0.5 he = 5000 m
  • ➳ Length = x
  • ➳ Breadth = 40 m

Second side :

\large{:\longmapsto\sf{Area = Length  \times Breadth}}

\large{:\longmapsto\sf{5000 = x  \times 40}}

\large{:\longmapsto\sf{  x =  \cancel\frac{5000}{40} }}

{\large{\blue{\longmapsto{\orange {\underline{\boxed{\sf{X = 125m}}}}}}}}

Hence :

\large\underline{\green{\underline{\frak{\pmb{Length = Second  \: side = 125m}}}}}
