using Pythagoras theorem
48 ^ 2 + x ^ 2 = 50 ^ 2
2304 + x^2 = 2500
x^2 = 196
x = 14
area = l × b
= 14 × 48
= 672 cm^2
perimeter = 2 ( l + b )
=2( 48 + 14 )
=2 ( 62 )
=124 cm
