TO FIND

Total cost of fencing of the garden

SOLUTION

Perimeter of square = 4 × side

=) ( 4 × 8.5 ) dam

=) 34 dam

We know that, 1 dam = 10m

=) ( 34 × 10 )m

=) 340 m

So, perimeter of garden is 340 m

NOW,

Total cost of fencing = Rs ( 24 × 340 )

=) Rs 8160
