Given that,

Perimeter of kite - 32 cm

Let "x" be the one side of kite

Both of the top sides are equal

Therefore, other side = x

One side of kite is 5 cm less than 2 times the length of another

Therefore,

One of bottom side = 2x - 5

Bottom sides are also equal

Thus, other bottom side = 2x - 5

We know that,

Perimeter = sum of all sides

32 = x + x + 2x - 5 + 2x - 5

32 = 6x - 10

6x = 32 + 10

6x = 42

x = 7

Thus length of each side of kite is:

x = 7

2x - 5 = 2(7) - 5 = 14 - 5 = 9

Thus length of each side of kite is 7 cm , 7 cm , 9 cm , 9 cm
