Therfore 2nd side = 2.5m+ x

perimeter of parellelogram = 2( 1st side + 2nd side)

Therefore, 51=2(2.5 +x + x)

51= 5 + 4x

46= 4x

x=23/2

=11.5

sides are 11.5 and 14
