one side of parallelogram is 30 cm and the corresponding altitude is 18 cm . find the length of the adjacent side of the parallelogram if the height of the altitude to the adjacent side is 20 cm​

hey the answer is .....


area = base x height

= 30 × 18

= 540cm^2


area = base x height

540 = base x 20

540/20 = base

27 = base



the length of adjacent side is 27cm

Your solution

One side of a parallelogram =30cm

And the corresponding altitude =18cm

First find their area

=30×18

=540cm...

And the Adajacent side =

540=length×20cm

=540÷20

=27cm Answer
