Let us convert the units into metres.


1 ha = 10,000 m²

Multiply with 0.5 on both sides

= 1 × 0.5 = 10,000 × 0.5

=> 0.5 ha = 5,000 m²


Area of a rectangle = length × breadth

Given that the length = 125 m

=> 125 × breadth = 5,000

=> breadth = 5,000/125

=> Breadth = 40 metres.


Answer :- 40 metres.
