area of field = lb
b= √5^2-4^2
=√9=3
area = 4*3
=12m^2
b= √5^2-4^2
=√9=3
area = 4*3
=12m^2

We know, adjacent sides of rectangle are perpendicular to each other.
By Pythagoras theorem,
5² = 4² + (other side)²
25-16 = (other side)²
√9 = (other side)
±3 = other side
Side can't be in minus, so other side = 3 m
Now,
Area of rectangle = Length ×breadth
Area of rectangle = 4×3
area of rectangle = 12m²
I hope this will help you
