Let longer side be x and the shorter side =$\frac{3x}{4}$

if the perimeter of the parallelogram is 70cm

Half the perimeter = $\frac{70}{2}$ =35cm

Sum of adjacent side of parallelogram =  longer side + shorter side

       longer side + shorter side = x + $\frac{3x}{4}$ = $\frac{7x}{4}$

        $\frac{7x}{4}$ = 35

Therefore x=20

Longer side =20cm

Shorter side = (3 x 20)/4 = 15cm
