Answer

Longer side =20cm and Shorter side =  15cm

Solution

One side of the parallelogram is 3 by 4 times its adjacent side.

Let longer side be x and the shorter side =\frac{3x}{4}

if the perimeter of the parallelogram is 70cm

Half the perimeter = \frac{70}{2} =35cm

Sum of adjacent side of parallelogram =  longer side + shorter side

       longer side + shorter side = x + \frac{3x}{4} = \frac{7x}{4}

        \frac{7x}{4} = 35

Therefore x=20

Longer side =20cm

Shorter side = (3 x 20)/4 = 15cm

Step-by-step explanation:

Here is a way of solving.Let the side be X cm

Now in a parallelogram opposite sides are equal and parallel.

One more thing is it is given

Y ( the other side ) = 3/4 X cm

So the perimeter of parallelogram is

2 ( x + y ) = 70

2 ( X + 3/4 X ) = 70

7x / 4 = 35

X = 140 / 7

X = 20 cm

Y = 3/4 X = 15cm

So the sides of the parallelogram is

20 cm , 20 cm , 15 cm , 15 cm
