Step-by-step explanation:

Let the adjacent sides are 'a' and 'a/2'.

So,

⇒ perimeter = 24

⇒ 2(sum of adjacent sides) = 24cm

⇒ 2(a + a/2) = 24 cm

⇒ 2a + a = 24cm

⇒ 3a = 24cm

⇒ a = 8 cm

          Sides are:

 a = 8 cm

a/2 = 8/2 = 4 cm

♻️ Given :-

  • One side of the parallelogram is half of its adjacent side.

  • Perimeter = 24cm.

♻️ To Find :-

  • Length Of Its Sides.

♻️ Solution :-

Let,

It's First Side = x.

Second Side = x/2.

Formula For Perimeter,

Perimeter :- 2(l + b).

So, Put the values.

➝ 2(x + x/2) = 24.

➝ 2x + x = 24.

➝ 3x = 24.

➝ x = 24/3.

➝ x = 8.

So, Its Sides,

  • x = 8cm.

  • x/2 = 4cm.
