one side of the parrallelogram is 2.5 m longer than its adjacent side. if the perimeter of parrallelogram is 51 m, find the measure of all its sides

ANSWER IS = 11.5 M , 14 M

Let the shortest side be x

Then longer side = x+2.5

ATQ

Sum of all sides = 51

x+x+2.5+x+x+2.5= 51

4x+5= 51

4x= 51-5

x= 46/4

x= 11.5m

Shortest side= 11.5m

Longer side= x+2.5

→11.5+2.5

→14m

Thank You!!!

Hope this will be helpful for you .

Let the Adjacent Side = x
The other Side = x+2.5
We know that the perimeter of IIgram is 2(l+b)
2(x+x+2.5) = 51
2(x+x+2.5)/2 = 51/2
x+x+2.5 = 25.5
2x+2.5 - 2.5 = 25.5 - 2.5
2x = 23
X = 11.5 m
The other Side is (11.5+2.5)m = 14m
You got your 2 sides of the parallelogram
