The 5 shapes are put in a bag.

Ron takes a shape at random from the bag and does not replace it.

Given:

  • total no.of shapes = 5
  • 4 squares and one circle

To find:

  • probability that they both get squares =?

Solution:

p( both get square) =chance to getsquare

total no.of shapes

chances of getting square = 2 ( as both take each shape)

= 2/5

I think iam right if not pls tell me :)
