one structural differences between the composition of artery and viens are that arteries are deep seated in the body whereas viens are comparatively superficial and in artery valves are absent but in viens valves are present , in artery lumen is narrow and the wall is thick and more elastic whereas in viens , lumen is comparatively and the wall is thin and less elastic.
