(x -  \frac{1}{3} ) \times 6 = 70 \\  >  \frac{3x - 1}{3}  \times 6 = 70 \\  > 2(3x - 1) = 70 \\  > 3x - 1 = 35 \\  > 3x = 36 \\  > x = 12
