Let the number be X.

According to the question,

X/3 = X/4 + 15

X/3 - X/4 = 15

4X - 3X = 15 × 12

X = 180.

Number = X = 180

Let us

The number is X

Then

X/3 - X/4=15

(4X - 3X)/12=15
