(Note: I will extend the way so that you can clear your doubt. Read line by line and you will understand it.)

Let the unknown angle be x,

Then one third of an angle be- ( 1/3) × x

= x/3

Now, complement of x/3 is 65 degree. (given)

(To find complement of any number we subtract it with 90 degree.)

So, ATQ,

(90- x/3) = 65

-x/3 = 65 - 90

-x/3 = -25. ---- (i)

-x = (-25) × 3

-x = -75

So, x= 75 degree

Now, the angle was 'one third ' so we will divide the value of x by 3

x/3

= 75/3

= 25 degree

Therefore, the complementary angle of 65 degree is 25 degree. Answer.

In eq.( i) only we got our answer but you have to show all things.
