➤According to the question,

⇉Number of women = 200 + 1/3 x.

$x = \frac{1}{3} x + 200 + \frac{1}{3} x$

$x = 200 + \frac{2x}{3}$

$3x = 600 + 2x$

$3x - 2x = 600$

$x = 600$

➤Note:

The number of people will not be in negative.
