Answer:

b = 18, l = 24

Step-by-step explanation:

Perimeter = 2[l+b]

= 2[(6+b) + b] .....given

1/3(perimeter) = 28

or, (1/3)*2(6+2b) = 28

or, (2/3)(6+2b) = 28

or, b = 18

L = 6+b = 6+18 = 24

Answer:

The dimension of the garden is 24m length and 18m breadth.

Step-by-step explanation:

As we know that the formula of perimeter of rectangle 2(l+b).

Taking the formula we will solve it.

Now

Let the breadth be x m

then the length is x+6 m

Using the foemula

A/q

2/3(6+x+x)=28 {Here we divide because here is one third perimeter is given.So to make 1/3 perimeter we had done this.

After solving it x=18( breadth)

So form that length has come 18+6= 24

I hope this will help you.

Have a nice day!
