=> 7 / 11 - 24 / 55 = x / 3 ,
=> ( 7 * 5 ) - 24 / 55 = x / 3 ,
=> ( 35 - 24 ) / 55 = x / 3 ,
=> 11 / 55 = x / 3 ,
=> 1 / 5 = x / 3 ,
=> 3 / 5 = x [ ANSWER ] .

x/3 = 7/11 - 24/55
x/3 = (1/11) [7 - 24/5]
x/3 = (1/11) [(35 - 24)/5]
x/3 = (1/11) × (11/5)

∴ One-third of 3/5 should be subtracted.
