From question,

Distance (s) = 175 km = 175000 m

Speed in water (v) = 1531 m/s

Time (t) = ?

We know that,

2*s = v*t

(2)(175000) = 1531*t

t = 350000/1531= 228 seconds (Approx)

hope this helps you out!

The speed of sound=1531m/s
The distance=175km=175000m
Time=D/S(distance÷speed)
=175000/1531
=114.30seconds
=1.905minutes
Hope this helps you also can you please mark me brainliest please?

sxsingh21: I checked my calculations using calculator before posting.
vanshikayadav1: so how can I get the correct answer
sxsingh21: The following is the feed of a online search result "To find the speed, distance is over time in the triangle, so speed is distance divided by time. To find distance, speed is beside time, so distance is speed multiplied by time. "
sxsingh21: using the above one can get the formula d÷s=t
sxsingh21: no it won't
