'His First Flight' is a parable. The seagulls convey the message of self-confidence, motivation and self-reliance. The mother seagull motivates the young one enough to get him to learn flying. The baby seagull realises the importance of belief and faith. He flaps his wings to learn flying and gain the confidence to be independent. The story conveys 'Give a man a fish and you feed him for a day; teach a man to fish and you feed him for a lifetime'. The parable also stresses the importance of family ties and filial support.

Taking the first flight as the reference, and talking about the bird. The bird was very scared of flying and he had not tried it. Even if his parents had tried encouraging , threatening him. It was hunger that drived him to his first flight ,his mother who was encouraging brought a fish to and started to pull him to the edge, once he was not on ground he began flying. he tried to fly and was enjoying the rush he was experiencing. He was successful in flying and had learned to fly with the support of his parents .He won. The seagulls convey the message of self-confidence, motivation and self-reliance. The mother seagull motivates the young one enough to get him to learn flying. The baby seagull realises the importance of belief and faith. He flaps his wings to learn flying and gain the confidence to be independent.
