A person who consumes vegetable is known as herbivore while a person who eats meat is carnivore and a person who eats both i.e. meat and vegetable is known as omnivore.

Vore means group of people while herbi means herbs. Hence, from the word itself, one can make out the meaning. ‘Herbivore means group of people having only herbs or plants.
