The ratio of present age of promila and her daughter is 13:4.

Step-by-step explanation:

Since we have given that

Let the present age of her daughter be 'x+1'.

Let the present age of promila be '4x+1'

After 6 years,

Age of her daughter = x+6+1 = x+7

Age of promila = 4x+1+6 = 4x+7

According to question, we get that

(4x+7)-(x+7)=9\\\\4x+7-x-7=9\\\\\3x=9\\\\x=\dfrac{9}{3}\\\\x=3

Age of promila = 4(3)+1=12+1=13

Age of her daughter = x+1=3+1=4

Hence, the ratio of present age of promila and her daughter is 13:4.

Let Nikitha's age 1 year ago = x

Then Jaya's age 1 year ago = 4x

After 6 years their ages are = (4x + 7), ( x + 7)

So,

(4x + 7) - (x + 7) = 9

=> 4x + 7 - x - 7 = 9

=> 3x = 9

=> x = 3

Present age of Jaya = (12+1) years = 13 years

Present age of Nikitha = (3+1) years = 4 years

Ratio of their ages = 13 : 4
