Lord Munodi, a Laputian , was a person of rank and had been the governor of Lagado . Lagado was capital of the country Balnibarbi. It was the land which poor and is ruined.It was to him the king that e king of lagado had sent a recommandation letter to treat Gulliver as his guests . He welcomed Gulliver in his house and hospitality entertained him . as Gulliver went around metropolis with munodi he was disappointed to find the place dry and devoid of vegetation, the soil was not good . He was under pressure from the king to rebuild his house . It seems that Munodi was a law obiding citizen and a good person or a gentleman.

munodi is the person of first rank . he has been for some years the governor of lagoda, but was relieved of his post on account of his insufficiency . Gulliver was given a letter of recommendation from the lord of the king to contact munodi.
